taiwan science, technology and society association(The Association shall hereinafter be referred to as “the Association”) recently held a general meeting of its members at National Chien Ming University of Transport, and successfully completed the election of the Board of Directors for the tenth term. Subsequently, the first meeting of the Board of Directors for the tenth term also concluded successfully. Through mutual election by all Board members, the new Executive Board was officially elected, and Professor Wang Xiwu of the Department of Medicine at National Cheng Kung University was re-elected as the President for the tenth term.
This year’s Board of Trustees team brings together outstanding scholars from various academic institutions in the fields of technological history, medical history, technology and society, and environmental studies, demonstrating the deep academic energy and interdisciplinary vitality of the Taiwan STS community.
