This year’s conference theme is “Technology for Islands and Chains / Technology as a Tool for Islands and Chains.” Whether you are a paper presenter at this year’s conference or a member of the association and academic partner who wishes to attend the event, the registration system for the conference is officially open starting today.
For the annual meeting administrative preparations, food statistics and brand name production, please be sure to contact your partners as soon as possible. To save you time on the day of the annual meeting, we recommend that you first pay the registration fee online via the Green Circle link above after completing the registration form:
1. Membership system (Annual membership is divided into different levels)
- New member registration fee: Individual member: NT$500 / Group member: NT$1,000 (paid together with the first year membership fee upon registration).
- (Regular) Annual Membership Level:
- Level 1 (500Original: Students, retired people, and those with monthly income of less than 30,000 yuan (This level does not actively send periodicals; it is primarily for requests).
- Level 2 (1,200Basic monthly income: RMB 30,001 to RMB 60,000.
- Level Three (1,700Basic monthly income: 60,000 to 90,000 yuan (excluding assistants who hold administrative positions such as professors).
- Level 4 (2,200Monthly income of over 90,000 yuan (such as full-time professors, R&D researchers at the National Research Foundation of China).
- Group members (3,000Yuan): The annual membership fee for group members.
2. Choose a payment plan
- Program APayment of the annual membership fee for 2026 year.
- Program BOne-time payment for a two-year membership fee.
- Program C(Recommended offer): Pay the annual fee in one payment for 4 years, and enjoy the annual fee. 9 Special discount! *Note: Members who have taken advantage of the pre-paid discount will need to fill out a separate registration form on the annual meeting website in the coming years to participate in the annual meeting of that season, in order to facilitate the organization of the event and the compilation of statistics.
3. Note for card payment
When you enter the Green Line online card payment page, please help to confirm the following fields are filled out:
Card payment item: Please fill out "New/Old Member Payment" or "Group Member".
Amount: Please be sure to refer to the above levels and double-check the amount.
Name of the person ordering: Please fill in your "Member Name" (for convenience of the back office).
2. Explanation of the annual membership fee for non-members
If you currently have no plans to join the association, and only plan to register to attend the 2026 annual meeting, please pay the annual meeting registration fee according to your status:
- General participants: NT$2,500
- Student participants: NT$500
- Students who attend without eating or receiving handouts or souvenirs: Free of charge
Your participation and every annual membership payment are essential foundations for supporting the continued deep cultivation and stable operation of the STS academic community in Taiwan.
